When families invite you into their lives to partner them in raising their children, a new and sacred space is created.
Around Independence Day, families I work with and have worked with over the years tend to call or write to share a thought or memory. Warms my heart.
Last week was special as a friend invited me in for her daughter's concert- specially presented to an invited gathering. What began by looking routine evolved into a stirring spiritual experience as the young dancer invited her mentors on stage and they shared from their common heritage and commitment. We were all moved.
Nikhith finally showed me photographs of his work and I was amazed at the beauty of what was created. The pricey apartment breathes class and good taste. At 4000 sft each, they could be anyone's dream home.
Ma and I chat into the night and she is full of news of Swami and his devotees who flock to Puttaparthi to mark this very special year. They come from every nation in the thousands and offer glimpses of themselves and their devotion. Ma has a vantage view of the proceedings and of Swami and is often overwhelmed by the experience. She packs a long day at the hospital and is at Darshan most evenings.
Adheeka is going down with a viral and I am all out of Rhus Tox which I have been told help with this strain. Have to wait for the morning and the pharmacy.
